Boxing
Boxing by Alex Harris
Boxing, a dance of power and grace,
A test of strength, endurance, and pace.
Two warriors, locked in combat's embrace,
Exchanging blows, each seeking a victory trace.
The sound of gloves on flesh and bone,
Echoes through the arena, a primal moan.
Sweat and blood, a deadly blend,
As the fighters push to the very end.
One stands tall, the other falls,
A winner crowned, a champion's call.
But in defeat, there is honor too,
For in the ring, all fighters are true.
Boxing, a noble art, a fierce display,
Of courage, heart, and endless sway.
So let us cheer, let us acclaim,
These gladiators of the modern game.
